About the Studio

The Studio is the homepage of a one-person product studio. No methodology essays, no marketing pages here — just the things that got built: sites, tools, toys, and the three kinds of public record that surround them.

Three kinds of public record

• Shiplog: every release leaves one one-sentence note. The timeline is never faked.
• Open Books: each month I publish every project's visits and revenue. Zeros stay up too — that's exactly where the credibility comes from.
• Cause-of-death archive: projects abandoned later will keep three lines on why they died — archived, not deleted. Failure is part of the résumé too. (No entries yet — which is a good thing.)

Shop rules

1. The bar for inclusion is "seriously attempted," not "succeeded." Toys and failed experiments qualify.
2. Log a note as you ship, never more than one sentence. Any system that costs more than ten seconds to record will die.
3. Only facts and numbers here; method details link out to articles at Home, and the thinking behind them links to notes in the garden.

Technical notes

This site is built with Astro and deployed on Cloudflare Pages. The log is just markdown files in the repo — a single local npm run ship -- "what I did" publishes an entry. No tracking scripts; the open-books data is filled in by hand each month.
